In June we welcomed our local paramedics and members of Newtowncunningham First Responders to the school, to speak to the children about safety and medical emergencies. Pupils from junior infants to 6th class had a short safety talk followed by a visit to the ambulance and bandaging demonstrations. Many thanks to our volunteers, on the day and everyday, for their invaluable assistance to the local community.
