On Sunday we were delighted to attend the Peace Proms in Belfast with members of our fabulous school choir. It was such an amazing and inspirational event.
The Peace Proms is a musical showcase made up of a choir of children singing with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI). The aim of the CBOI is the promotion of peace, unity and tolerance through music education.
On Sunday, our pupils were part of a 4,000 strong choir who sang and danced together to a huge audience in the SSE Arena. It was such an incredible day and will live long into the memories of our pupils. A huge thank you to our choir teachers, Mrs Mullaney and Mr Killen, in all their preparation of the choir over the past six months and for donating their Sunday.
